Prudivo Privacy Policy

• What we collect: your name and email address (from email sign-up, Apple or Google), the financial accounts and transactions you connect through Plaid, and the budgets, goals and notes you add.
• Why: to run Prudivo's features for you, such as Safe to Spend, budgets, forecasts and Prudivo AI.
• Who sees it: only you, anyone you invite through Companion Mode, and the service providers listed below that process data for us.
• What we don't do: we don't sell your data, show ads, track you across other apps, or use your data to train AI models.
• Your choices: disconnect accounts, revoke access, or delete your account at any time.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you choose, your name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information that provider shares with us, such as your name and email address. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email" option, we receive only the relay address.

Financial preferences. Prudivo stores the choices you make in the app, such as budgets and category budgets, savings goals, custom categories, transaction rules, notes you add to transactions, how you split transactions, your minimum safety buffer, and which accounts you allow for AI.

Questions and recordings. When you ask Prudivo AI a question, we keep the conversation so you can see it later. If you use voice input, the recording is sent for transcription and is not stored.

Companion Mode. If you invite someone to view a record, we store the invited email address and what you shared until you revoke it.

Feedback. If you send feedback, it is sent from your device's email app to support@gaboapps.com and includes what you write.

When you connect a financial institution, we use Plaid to retrieve your account and transaction information with read-only access. This includes institution names, account names, types and balances, and transactions such as date, amount, merchant, category and the original description from your bank.

Prudivo never receives your bank login credentials; you enter them directly with Plaid. Plaid access tokens are encrypted on our servers and are never sent to the app. Plaid's handling of your information is described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

We use this information to show your balances and transactions, calculate Safe to Spend, build budgets, insights and forecasts, find recurring payments and subscriptions, and answer your questions.

Purchases. If you buy Prudivo Premium, our subscription provider receives your account identifier and purchase details (such as product, purchase date and subscription status) from the App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment card details.

Alerts. Prudivo shows alerts, such as low-balance and upcoming-bill notices, inside the app when you open it.

Technical information. Our servers process standard technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver the service, keep it secure and prevent abuse.

Prudivo does not use advertising identifiers, does not show ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

We use your information to operate Prudivo: to sign you in, connect and sync your accounts, store and display your financial records, calculate Safe to Spend, budgets, goals and forecasts, generate insights, answer your questions, share records you choose to share with a companion, provide Premium features you've purchased, restore purchases across your devices, respond to support requests, and diagnose and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use your financial information to build marketing profiles.

When you ask a question, we send the question and a limited amount of context, such as balances, transactions and budget details from the accounts you allow for AI, to OpenAI to generate an answer. Accounts shared with you through Companion Mode are never included. Requests are made with OpenAI's data storage option turned off. If you use voice input, the audio recording is sent to OpenAI for transcription, is held only in memory for the request, and is not stored or logged by us.

We do not use your information to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. AI answers can be inaccurate, so review them before acting on them.

What Prudivo is. Prudivo is a personal finance app that shows your balances and spending, calculates what is safe to spend, tracks budgets and goals, forecasts cash flow and answers your questions about your money. Sign in with Google is one of the ways to create and access your Prudivo account.

What Google user data we access. If you choose Sign in with Google, Prudivo requests only Google's basic sign-in scopes: openid, email and profile. From your Google Account we receive your name, email address and a unique Google account identifier. Prudivo does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, Photos or any other Google service, and does not access your Google data in the background.

How we use it. We use this information only to create your Prudivo account, sign you in, keep your financial records tied to your account across devices, show your name in the app, and contact you about your account, security or support requests. We do not use it for advertising, marketing profiles or any unrelated purpose.

How we share it. Your Google sign-in is processed by Google Firebase Authentication on our behalf. We do not sell Google user data, transfer it to data brokers or advertising platforms, or share it with other third parties except these service providers as needed to run the app, where required by law, or to protect our users. Google user data is never sent to OpenAI or Plaid.

How we store and protect it. Your name, email address and Google account identifier are stored by Firebase Authentication and in our access-controlled database, are transmitted over encrypted connections, and can be read only by your signed-in account and by authorized Gabo Apps systems. We do not use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Retention and deletion. We keep this information for as long as your Prudivo account exists. To delete it, follow our Account Deletion Policy by emailing support@gaboapps.com; we complete every deletion within 30 days. You can also revoke Prudivo's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Prudivo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you invite someone to view a record, that person can see the institution, account or transaction you chose, in read-only form, after signing in with the email address you invited. Companions cannot see anything else, cannot change records, and cannot use Prudivo AI on your data. You can revoke access at any time, and it ends immediately. We do not send the invitation for you; you tell the person to sign in with the invited address.

Your financial records are stored on our servers in a database with access restricted to your signed-in account. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections, and Plaid access tokens are additionally encrypted at rest. Sign-in details are stored on your device in its secure storage.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We rely on a small number of providers that process data on our behalf, only as needed to deliver their service:

• Plaid — connecting your financial institutions and retrieving account and transaction data
• Google Firebase — account authentication
• OpenAI — Prudivo AI answers and voice transcription
• Apple and Google — optional sign-in, and app store purchases and billing
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
• Cloud hosting and database providers — running Prudivo and storing your records

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect a financial institution at any time from Settings → Connected Accounts, which removes that institution and its accounts from Prudivo and stops further syncing.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. This removes your account and your financial records. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Limited information may be kept in backups for a short period or where we are legally required to retain it. Purchase records may be kept by our subscription provider and the app stores as needed for billing, refunds and tax purposes.

You can view and edit your budgets, goals, categories and transaction details in the app, choose which accounts Prudivo AI can use, revoke companion access, disconnect institutions, and delete your account.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@gaboapps.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Prudivo is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will also let you know by email or in the app.
